Director Accounting Full Time

A reputable organisation in Lusail, Qatar, is seeking a Director of Accounting to support financial operations, reporting, compliance, and management decision support. The successful candidate will bring practical experience, strong professional judgment, and the ability to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced GCC environment.

Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare and review financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
– Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, and management reporting
– Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal controls
– Analyze financial data and provide accurate insights to management

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
– 10+ years of relevant practical experience in the applied role
– Strong working knowledge of general ledger, AP/AR, reconciliations, VAT, ERP systems
– Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work effectively in a multicultural GCC environment
– Proven ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and drive measurable outcomes
