Job Overview

A private family in Bulgaria is seeking an experienced, caring, and trustworthy Live-in Nanny/Housekeeper to assist with daily care for a 1-year-old child and general household responsibilities.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates currently residing in the UAE who have previous experience working with private families, particularly in childcare and housekeeping, and are interested in relocating to Bulgaria for long-term employment.

The successful candidate will receive a monthly net salary of €650, free private accommodation, daily meals, medical insurance, and 20 working days of paid annual leave.

Key Responsibilities

Childcare Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, safe, and nurturing care for a 1-year-old child.
• Assist with feeding, diaper changing, bathing, dressing, and daily hygiene.
• Follow established feeding, sleeping, and nap routines.
• Prepare age-appropriate meals and snacks.
• Engage the child in educational play, reading, sensory activities, and early developmental activities.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the child’s bedroom, toys, clothing, and feeding equipment.
• Ensure a safe environment and supervise the child appropriately.
• Communicate regularly with the parents regarding the child’s daily activities, needs, and well-being.

Housekeeping Responsibilities

• Perform general household cleaning and maintain a tidy, organised family home.
• Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas.
• Manage laundry, ironing, folding, and wardrobe organisation.
• Change bed linens and maintain household hygiene.
• Assist with basic cooking and meal preparation.
• Organise household supplies, cupboards, and storage areas.
• Carry out periodic deep cleaning when childcare responsibilities allow.
• Handle household furniture, appliances, and belongings with care.
• Respect the family’s privacy and maintain confidentiality.

Childcare takes priority whenever the child requires attention.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a nanny, domestic helper, or housekeeper, including practical childcare experience.
• Previous experience caring for infants or toddlers is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with private families in the UAE or GCC is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills are required.
• Good understanding of infant and toddler safety, feeding, hygiene, and daily routines.
• Good housekeeping, laundry, ironing, and basic cooking skills.
• Patient, caring, responsible, trustworthy, and organised.
• Ability to work independently and follow the family’s established routines.
• Comfortable living in a private family residence.
• Valid passport and willingness to relocate to Bulgaria.
• Previous employer references are preferred.
• Infant first-aid or childcare training is an advantage.

Salary and Benefits

• Monthly Net Salary: €650.
• Private Accommodation: Free private bedroom within the family residence.
