A reputable organization in Muscat, Oman is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support warehousing, transport, procurement, freight, and supply chain operations. The successful candidate will bring practical experience, strong professional judgment, and the ability to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced GCC environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Coordinate logistics, warehousing, procurement, or supply chain activities
– Monitor inventory, suppliers, shipments, and service performance
– Ensure compliance with documentation, safety, and operational standards
– Identify opportunities to improve cost, speed, and service quality
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
– 8–12 years of relevant practical experience in the applied role
– Strong working knowledge of sourcing, negotiation, contracts, supplier performance
– Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work effectively in a multicultural GCC environment
– Proven ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and drive measurable outcomes
